Dars Is Completely CRAZY 'Bout Coffee

Hi, it's me, Klu the Bear, and this is my blog 'bout how Dars is completely CRAZY 'bout coffee. Every morning when Uncle Kerms is makin' the coffee, she's doin' some helpin' and some pesterin'. 'Specially some pesterin'.

She always wants to smell the coffee beans when Uncle Kerms opens the jar. Here's a picture of her smellin' the coffee beans when Uncle Kerms opens the jar.

Then she has to climb up and watch him pour the coffee beans into the grinder. Here's a picture of Dars climbin' up and watchin' Uncle Kerms pour the coffee beans into the grinder.

Then she has to climb down and push the button to start the grinder. (You should hear her mwack if Uncle Kerms forgets and pushes the button himself.)

Then she has to stick her head in the place where the coffee crumbs come out to do some watchin'. Here's a picture of Dars stickin' her head in the place where the coffee crumbs come out.

Then she has to climb back up to see how many coffee beans are left. (She does it like this every morning.)

Then she goes back to doin' some watchin' where the coffee crumbs come out.

Then she has to do some sniffin' when Uncle Kerms pulls the little box out. Here's a picture of Dars doin' some sniffin' when Uncle Kerms pulls the box out.

Then she has to do some supervisin' when Uncle Kerms puts the coffee crumbs in the machine.

Then she has to press the button to turn the machine on. (You should hear her mwack if Uncle Kerms forgets and turns the machine on himself.) Then she does some waitin'. Here's a picture of Dars doin' some waitin'.

Uncle Kerms gives Dars a little cup of coffee every morning. (If he let her have any more than just a little cup, she'd be completely crazy all day.) She sticks her beak in and does some slurpin'. Here's a picture of Dars stickin' her beak in her coffee and doin' some slurpin.

Isn't she the cutest baby duck you ever knew? 'Cept she has really bad coffee breath after she does some slurpin'.

It Didn't Work

Good morning, um, it's me, Klu the Bear.

Guess what?! I went out on the balcony yesterday to do some lookin', and the neighbor's tinfoil to keep the bunnies out of his planter boxes didn't work. Here's some pictures of the tinfoil not workin'.

Here's some pictures of the baby bunny that made the tinfoil not work.

Then I went out and did some lookin' just now, and look what the neighbor did to his planter boxes! Here's some pictures of what the neighbor did to his planter boxes!

Then the baby bunny came back to do some lookin' at what the neighbor did to his planter boxes. (Two grown-up bunnies came too, but I didn't get any good pictures of them.) Here's a picture of the baby bunny comin' back to do some lookin' at what the neighbor did to his planter boxes. Isn't it the cutest baby bunny you ever knew?

Here's a picture of the baby bunny's bottom, behind one of the flower pots.

Here's a picture of the baby bunny by the neighbor's door.

Um, everyone who voted that the tinfoil would work was wrong. Uncle Kerms thought the tinfoil would work, but he was wrong. But I think the bricks and chicken wire will keep the bunnies from diggin' in the neighbor's dirt. But can't they still hop up and eat his begetables?

Love,
Klu the Bear

PS. I used to want to 'dopt the baby bunny, cuz it's the cutest baby bunny I ever knew, but I don't want to now. Bunnies are a lot of trouble. Almost as much trouble as Wilbs (she's a pig, you know).

You Can Vote 'Bout the Neighbor and the Bunnies By Leavin' Me A Comment

Hi, it's me, Klu the Bear.

I went out on the balcony to do some lookin' just now, and the neighbor was out there doin' something funny with his planter boxes. He was still in his pajamas, and his bottom was stickin' up at me, and I wanted to take a picture of him doin' something funny with his planter boxes, but Big Mummy wouldn't let me. (His bottom look really funny, stickin' up at me. His pajamas were blue plaid.)

So I waited until he was done doin' something funny with his planter boxes. Here's some pictures of what he did with his planter boxes. I think he's tryin' to keep the bunnies from doin' some diggin' in his dirt and stuff.

He put tinfoil on the dirt, and then he put some rocks on top of the tinfoil. Here's a picture of his planter boxes with some tinfoil on top of the dirt, and some rocks on top of the tinfoil.

I came back inside and asked Big Mummy and Uncle Kerms if the tinfoil with the rocks on top of it would really keep the bunnies out of the planter boxes. Uncle Kerms said it would work but Big Mummy said it wouldn't work. So I 'cided to have a poll on my blog (Get A Klu). You can tell me your vote in the comments or on my Facebook page, and I'll do some addin' and stuff. And then I'll tell you what happens next.

Love,
Klu the Curious Bear

PS. I'm not gonna tell you what I'm votin' for, but I whispered it in Big Mummy's ear.

What I Saw This Morning When I Was Sittin' on the Balcony Doin' Some Lookin'

Hi, it's me, Klu the Bear.

This morning, I went out to sit on the balcony cuz it's summer and I like to sit on the balcony and do some lookin' around. And I noticed that the neighbor moved his trellises. They used to be squished up against his house, but now they're out in the middle of his patio. Here's a picture of me sittin' on the balcony doin' some lookin' at the neighbor's trellises.

I was sittin' on the balcony, doin' some lookin' around, and all the sudden I saw a baby bunny! It was the cutest baby bunny I ever saw. Here's a picture of the baby bunny. It was kinda doin' some hidin' in the bushes right by the neighbor's trellises, so I think it was the same baby bunny we saw in the planter boxes the other day.

I think the baby bunny was thinkin 'bout hoppin' into the planter boxes and doin' some eatin', but all the sudden 'long came a grown-up bunny and hopped into the planter box down at the end. Here's a picture of the grown-up bunny in the planter box down at the end.

The grown-up bunny had a taste of pretty much everything in the planter box down at the end.

Then it did some hoppin' down the row of planter boxes. It kinda 'nored one that didn't have so much in it, and went to the planter box with the 'matoes. Here's a picture of it havin' a taste of the 'matoes.

Then it did some sniffin'. Here's a picture of the grown-up bunny doin' some sniffin'.

Then it did some diggin' by the 'matoes. Here's a picture of it doin' some diggin' by the 'matoes. (You can see the dirt doin' some flyin'.)

Then it did some more hoppin'.

And some more eatin'. Here's a picture of it eatin' some flowers from the pepper plants.

Then I guess it got tired of the planter boxes, cuz it hopped away with a piece of pepper flower stickin' out of its mouth. Here's a picture of it right before it hopped away with a piece of pepper flower stickin' out of its mouth.

PS. I wonder where the baby bunny went?

Hannah G Is Back!

Hi, um, it's me, Klu the Bear. I'm super-'cited cuz I reconnected with my friend Hannah G. Actually, she reconnected with me. Hannah G was my friend when she was a little girl. Then she got to be a grown-up teenager. I didn't know if she still liked me. And I missed her somethin' fierce. But now she's my friend again!

The Neighbor's Big Bunny Hole

Hi, um, it's me, Klu the Bear.

Our neighbors have a patio that looks like this.

This morning, Big Mummy was outside, and she started shoutin' for us to come out on the balcony and look, cuz she saw a baby bunny. There are baby bunnies everywhere right now, but this one was behind some trellises where the neighbor planted his begetables and peas and 'matoes and stuff. We ran out on the balcony, but we couldn't really see the baby bunny cuz it was behind the trellises and we were upstairs. And then it was time for Big Mummy and Uncle Kerms to go to work and me to start doin' some babysittin' and I forgot all 'bout the baby bunny behind the trellises.

Me and Wilbs and Big Mummy just went out now to do some 'vestigatin'. (Wilbs is really good at 'vestigatin,' cuz she's a pig, and they're always rootin' around in somethin'.) First we made a 'scovery that there was lots of dirt on the ground at the end of the trellises. Here's a picture of lots of dirt on the ground at the end of the trellises.

Then we 'scovered that someone had been eating some leaves. Here's a picture of the leaves that someone was eating.

Then we climbed up on the trellis to see if the baby bunny was still there. Here's some pictures of us climbin' up on the trellis to see if the baby bunny was still there.

The baby bunny wasn't there, but there was a hole in the dirt as big as me and Wilbs together. Here's a picture of the hole in the dirt as me and Wilbs together.

I think the baby bunny likes begetables a lot, cuz it had eaten the peas and 'matoes even before there were any peas and 'matoes. I wonder if our neighbor likes baby bunnies as much as my Big Mummy does?

I Just Found Out The Coolest Thing EVER!

Um, hi, it's me, Klu the Bear. It's time for me to go to bed, but I had to write a post cuz Auntie E just told my Big Mummy the coolest thing ever. She told me my friend Jack says I'm one of the family, and he just went back and read all my old posts! Jack was my friend when he was really little, but now he's pretty much grown up, but he still likes me! That's the best thing EVER!

Hi Jack.

Tonight Is Kinda Boring

Hi, um, it's me, Klu the Bored Bear. I couldn't think of anything to do after dinner. I already did lots of playin' and stuff with the other kids. And I wasn't 'llowed to watch a movie cuz it's not the weekend. So I just did some wanderin' round in the house.

Then I wandered into the garage cuz Uncle Kerms left the door open. I'm not s'pposed to go in there by myself, cuz there's lots of tools and stuff, but Uncle Kerms said it was okay tonight. But I was still kinda bored. Here's a picture of me sittin' in the water bottle cage on Uncle Kerms's road bike while it was up in the work stand.

When I got bored with sittin' in the water bottle cage, Uncle Kerms let me sit on his wheel truin' stand. (Truin' is what you do to make the wheels round and go straight and stuff.) Here's a picture of me sittin' one way on the Uncle Kerms's wheel truin' stand.

It wasn't very comfortable to sit that way on Uncle Kerms's wheel truin' stand, so I sat the other way. Here's a picture of me sittin' the other way.

That was kinda boring too, but then Uncle Kerms said I should do some gymnastics, like the men do in the 'Lympics. Here's a picture of me doin' some gymnastics like the men do in the 'Lympics.

That's when I got done bein' bored.

Love,
Klu the Bear

PS. I'm gonna go to bed now.

My Snickers Bar That Big Mummy Gave Me For Doin' Some Advertisin'

Hi, um, it's me, Klu the Bear, and I'm mad at Wilbs today. She's a pig, you know, and most of the time she's the best pig I ever knew. But sometimes it's hard to have a pig for a sister.

I just noticed a few minutes ago that I had that hollow place in my tummy, even though I ate my breakfast. Maybe it's cuz I did lots of playin' after I ate my breakfast. So I 'cided I'd eat my fun-sized Snickers bar that my Big Mummy gave me for doin' some advertisin' on my blog 'bout her business, Magic Carpet Dance Arts. (That's where she sells stuff to grown-up ladies that do some belly dancin' and stuff.)

So I tried to open my fun-sized Snickers bar that Big Mummy gave me for doin' some advertisin' on my blog. Here's a picture of me tryin' to open my fun-sized Snickers bar. But bears have fur, you know, and that makes our paws kinda slippery. So I had to ask Big Mummy to start doin' some openin' for me.

I ate a few bites of my fun-sized Snickers bar. Here's a picture of my fun-sized Snickers bar after I ate a few bites.

Then Big Mummy started doin' some shoutin' and stuff from the other room, cuz she just sold somethin' on her website, Magic Carpet Dance Arts. (She gets really 'cited every time she sells somethin'.) So I ran into the other room to see what she was gettin' so 'cited 'bout. When I came back to the kitchen, I found Wilbs in my fun-sized Snickers bar. Here's a picture of Wilbs in my fun-sized Snickers bar.

I was so mad at her that I yelled at her and then I started to cry. Here's picture of Wilbs after I yelled at her.

Uncle Kerms came over to see why I was doin' some yellin' at Wilbs and some cryin'. He gave me a hug, and told me not to worry 'bout it -- that's just how pigs are sometimes even if you try to train them to behave -- and then he gave me another fun-sized Snickers bar out of the cupboard we kids can't reach.

I love my Uncle Kerms somethin' fierce. He's the best daddy I ever knew. I love Wilbs too, but sometimes she drives me completely crazy.

Love,
Klu the Bear

PS. After I ate my fun-sized Snickers bar that Uncle Kerms gave me, I didn't have that hollow place in my tummy anymore.
